I did it again! I made a meal from a cookbook!! Margherita Pizza and Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins! We also enjoyed vegetable kabobs that Ryan BBQed on the rooftop grills (but didn’t snap a pic of those).
Just bought these online probably to wear to the Rehearsal Dinner! Can’t wait for them to arrive!! SOOOO PURDY!
I CAN cook! As a break from doing work this afternoon/evening, Ryan and I busted out our pots and pans and made a COMPLETE meal from a cookbook: 1) Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Artichokes, Lemon, and Goat Cheese, 2) Bulgar Pilaf, and 3) Blueberry Muffins. AND IT ACTUALLY TASTED GREAT! Could this be the beginning of a wonderful new relationship with my kitchen?
I am recently the new owner of this Black Halo Strapless Shorts Jumper from Neiman Marcus…but do I REALLY need it? And WHERE will I wear it? Maybe honeymoon? Maybe to Underground with cute heels? It truly is adorable and super trendy, but is it TOO trendy and will it go out on style before I even get to wear it? P.S. This model is way too pale and it is making me dislike the romper more and more…
NEED a Cuban-ish dress for the Junior League of Chicago’s Havana Nights-themed Summer Soiree at the Chicago History Museum. And I’m clueless…this is just as difficult at the JLC’s “Nautical Chic” themed event last year…
Do I still need my high school physics notes?
My parents found a dead field mouse in their garage this weekend, which has prompted them to undertake a MAJOR clean-up of not only the garage but the basement, family room and the rest of the house. This overhaul has led them to undercover a lot of “stuff” from my childhood which they keep calling to ask if I want them to save or throw out. But…NO…I really do not need them to save my high school physics notes…I really doubt that at this point in life (or at ANY time in the future) will I become a physicist!
Last weekend, Ryan’s mom and aunt hosted a beautiful shower for me at their country club! It was complete with a GIANT framed picture of Ryan and me that greeted all the shower guests … which we have since hung in our office/second bedroom behind our elliptical (which I NEVER use) and it looks MARVELOUS!
